                  With the significant increase in screen time in the past few years taking care of the eyes has been so important, with problems like dry eyes, eye strain, redness, itching, decreased vision it's clear that our eyes are in the biggest danger of this situation, in this blog I am going to share with you some easy ways to relax your eyes and also the food to consume in your diet so that your eyes get essential nutrients so that the eyes can be nourished and the damage would be minimal.

     Starting with the list:-

1) Use Eye Protection

                   It is good installing an eye protection thin film on the screen of laptops, TV, or mobile. Choose a good quality of screen film, as it is worth a one-time investment.


2) Turn on the Bluelight filter






Blue light filter reduces the damaging blue light of the devices. Since the blue light filter is a common feature of present generation devices like laptops and mobiles, there is no need to buy any blue light filter.


3) Eye Relaxation



               After a long session, online our eyes feel dry and strained. To calm them down and get an instant cooling effect there are some easy and lazy methods:-
 
1) Just cut 2 slices of cucumber, keep them on closed eyes, keep lying down for at least 10 minutes, and start the cooling effect.
2) Another option is to soak cotton in pure rose water and keep it over the eyes, being anti-inflammatory the rose water helps in removing the stress of the eyes.
3) You can also fill the mouth full of water and splash water over the eyes. According to Ayurveda practicing this technique after waking up in the morning daily can keep your eyes healthy for longer age.

4) Connection with Feet

              According to Ayurveda, the root of the eyes lies in the feet. If we take proper care of our feet it results will be felt in our eyes, in simple words "take care of your feet to take care of your eye". So I recommend you to massage your feet with oil, I would recommend you to massage with coconut oil. Massaging oil to feet calms the whole nervous system.

 I also recommend to:-
1) walk barefoot on the grass.
2) press the acupressure points on the feet.

5) Food For Eyes

           If you keep these 3 foods in your regular diet, your eyes regain their original strength and slowly heal your eye. Apart from these foods I also recommend you to consume carrots and pomegranates on a regular basis.
